What Day 1 does

The dates are not the hard part. The week is.

Knowing the cycle day is useful. Knowing what to do with it is better.

Day 1 turns the current cycle day into a practical starting point for food, movement, work, social outings, recovery, symptoms, and rest. One short text in the morning, then the app is there when you want to log or plan.

The morning text

Your day, in one helpful text.

Each morning, Day 1 uses your cycle day and patterns to share the most useful food, movement, energy, and connection tips for that day.

Food

Fueling ideas that may fit the week, such as warmer meals during your period or a larger lunch in the luteal phase.

Movement

Gentle framing for the day's workout. Stronger sessions on higher-energy days. Recovery walks or lighter lifts when useful.

Energy

A read on capacity. Days that may suit focused work or a bigger push, and days worth protecting from too much at once.

Connection

A small heads-up on how you may want to show up socially and with your partner, so plans and closeness fit the week.

One short, practical note with the most useful focus for today.

A practical difference

A period tracker tells you the date. Day 1 uses it.

Two different tools. Two different jobs.

A period tracker

  • Cycle day
  • Period prediction
  • Ovulation estimate
  • Symptom log
  • Calendar view

Day 1

  • One short morning text
  • Food and fueling ideas
  • Movement guidance for the day
  • Planning and capacity notes
  • 80 recipes tagged by phase, with macros
  • Comparisons across your own cycles
  • Optional partner support

Food stack

The same meal plan may not fit every week.

Appetite, cravings, and training needs can shift across the month. Day 1 offers phase-aware fueling ideas as a starting point, not a rigid rulebook.

Menstrual

Warm meals. Iron-rich foods. Extra hydration.

Follicular

Fresh meals. Protein at every meal. Carbs when training harder.

Ovulatory

Fuel higher-output days. Avoid underfueling. Fiber to steady energy.

Luteal

Larger lunch. Complex carbs. A planned snack instead of a raid.

Personalization

It starts with the cycle day. It gets better with your data.

Log symptoms, mood, energy, hunger, sleep, movement, flow, and libido. Day 1 uses your history to compare the same cycle day across cycles, so the guidance gets more specific to you over time.

No streaks. No catching up. One useful log is enough.

Real weeks

Built for the way your week actually goes.

Day 1 offers a useful starting point. It does not require a perfect routine.

Optional partner support

Your partner can get a text, too.

He can finally understand where you're coming from, and meet you where you are without having to ask or guess.

Same cycle day, different message. His text is written for how to show up: what tends to feel good this week, what may land well, and what to be gentle around. No logs, no charts to read. Just a short, kind heads-up so the two of you are on the same page.

You choose what he sees

  • What to expect this week
  • Mood and energy at a glance
  • Small, practical ways to show up
  • Ideas for meals, plans, and quiet time

Raw logs are never shared. You can turn access off any time.

FAQ

Common questions.

How is Day 1 different from a period tracker?

Period trackers focus on prediction. Day 1 focuses on daily practice. It uses your cycle day as a starting point for food, movement, planning, and logging guidance, delivered once each morning.

Does Day 1 replace medical care?

No. Day 1 is a daily practical guide, not medical advice. For symptoms that concern you, talk to a clinician.

What happens if my cycle is irregular?

Day 1 works from the start of your last period and updates as you log. Irregular cycles, post-pill cycles, perimenopause, and postpartum are welcome. Guidance stays practical rather than prescriptive when patterns are still settling.

Does it work with hormonal birth control?

Partly. On continuous or suppressive hormonal birth control, your natural cycle patterns are muted, so phase-based framing may not fit the same way. Day 1 can still offer daily practical ideas for food, movement, planning, and logging, and you can turn phase framing down in Settings.

What does my partner see?

A partner-only summary with practical ideas and phase context. Never your raw logs. You choose which categories are visible and can turn access off any time.

How is my data used?

Day 1 does not sell your data, does not share it for ads, and does not train models on your logs. You can delete your data from Settings.

Is it free?

Yes, free during early access. If pricing changes later, existing early-access members will get advance notice.

Your cycle day can tell you more than the date.
